Food and water should not exceed three-quarters of the pot's capacity, and there should be at least 400ml of water. Before closing the lid, make sure the steam vent is not obstructed, the valve is intact, and the float valve moves freely up and down. If no steam is escaping from the pot and the float valve has dropped, you can open the lid counterclockwise. If the float valve has not dropped, This indicates that pressure remains inside the pot; do not force the lid open. You can use sticks to push the float valve down to release any remaining steam, then open the lid. It is recommended to replace the seal every 6 months to 1 year.
